In all honesty I would prefer a Golf over this too.

Tax for a 1.6 Golf should be no more than £140/12 months anyway...

derives from a naturally occurring substance called crude oil, petrol takes many forms, notably unleaded being used in cars, cost of which is about £1 a litre, were a barrel is $80 for crude oil, a barrel contains 158.987296 of crude oil, there for £158 per litre we pay, so the barrel cost £40ish, and we pay £1 a litre, so they make £118 per barrel, you're telling me it costs £118 to refine the oil? hmmm... NO! didn't think so.

Or was that not the idea of your post petrol?

I bought the new shape polo couple of weeks ago.. its only done 900 miles but its not the blue-motion one..

I own two polos now! and I have another 7 close friends that own a Polo!! I think polos are a great car for students and much better than the corsas and clios...

My next targets a mini cooper!

Yea that would be cool. I've been thinking bout that myself as I have a lot of friends that own polos..

My new polo is a 1.2 but I havn't got it to drive much as it needs a new door.. but I love my old one, its a 1.4 16v and It does 120mph with ease! though im not very impressed with its fuel consumption.

Gives me about 100miles for £15 but its probably because I ripp it in lower gears

Theyre doing a Passat version aswell as a Golf one...

According to Wikipedia the car's been made more "aerodynamically efficient" with the aid of helping it sail through or something like that...

Passat one would be nice to see. My dad's 1.9 TDi is quite impressive though, he can get around 600 miles on a full tank...! A bluemotion Passat should be a darn sight more impressive...

Bio-Ethanol makes petrol seem as efficient as diesel, emissions are virtually neglegable, too......
