Screw SE P800, Neonode will kick P800:s a** |

From what i understand the screen size of this thing is exactly the same as a 7650. Now, am i the only one who finds a touch screen of that size completely useless?! The p800's screen size is twice of that, and that's just barely big enough to work well as a touch screen imo.

If what i read in the article is true, the neonode phone is not very expensive, I might but this as a third phone after the P800 and my T68i.
I am not to enthusiastic about MS OS on the phone though, I hope they prove me wrong!

Haven't seen any info on the weight of this thing yet.... Anybody know? It does seem like pretty good value for the price, but still i can hardly see it as a p800 killer mainly because of the small screen size and limited cell phone functions, and i believe the pda functions won't work as well on the neonode either.

The release date is said to be February here in Sweden....don't know what date for rest of the world.
Whats great about N1 it seems to be that the develpment tool is free so Neonode hopes that young people will start to develop their own applications.....like a new way to send textmessages and other cool things....

It definitely looks cool. But as it has been said before, this is a new company with a relatively different product compared to the established companies. If I were to use my experience from the console market I would wait and see what's up with this. And I'm not sure if I'm ready to run around with a headset all the time. People (especially old people) look weird at you if you're using a headset, unless of course you're in Asia, becuase there the old people use headsets themselves.
I think I could live with the small screen size when you consider how small the "phone" is.

Hmm.. how do you enter text on the Neonode? AFAIK there is no stylus for the phone... |

Hmm.. for me the P800 still seems a lot better. I think the P800 is more of the PDA type with more features. Even though not much information is available, the NeoNode seems to have much less features. |

LOL, I like this company. They are pretty funny. While I was scrolling though size comparisons, I came across the P800 which was named "swedish brick", and the Nokia 3650 which was named "finnish brick". There doesn't seem to be a speaker or mic on the unit itself but it is around the size of a T68i and can handle Win CE. It's meant to be used more as a PDA than a phone. From experience with Win CE, there is no voice dialling, and there is no number recognition. I would like to play with the Neonode N1 before making any decisions though. |

The phone looks quite interesting, and like I`ve sad earlier, if the price is as low as it seems I am getting one as a 3rd phone. But I will still buy the "swedish brick"
