What do you want to achieve?

The HCA-10 is ancient as far as mobile technology is concerned. You may happily use it with a 'retro' Ericsson phone for the novelty value, or you can hunt out the cradle that matches the F500i. It will quite simply attach to the bracket that mounts the existing cradle and the existing Aerial cable will plug into it, but you'll need a new System Cable to match the new cradle.

When/If you purchase a new phone, I'd recommend you update to a HCA-60 hardwired or HCB-700 Bluetooth carkit. Only the microphone and speaker will carry over to the new generation kit.

Sony MEX-BT2500 or MEX-BT5000 A2DP (Bluetooth Stereo) head units with built in Carkit are also an option.
