K850i Flash themes |

Hi Guys,
I try to change my K850i's flash theme to others such as S500i's Everchanging theme...
Since it is not possible to write filesystem to K850(CID52) by XS++ 3.1, I try to mod this line at xml file...
Desktop_style Type="File" Source="Precision_desktop.swf"
Standby_image Source="Everchanging.swf"
Ok, it works and I put standby .swf file together on to .thm file.
Also Precision menu works as I mod that line, and I tried this too;
Desktop_style Type="File" Source="\\tpa\\user\\picture\\Everchanging_desktop.swf"
So I save desktop swf file to picture folder on the Phone memory, logically, it must work! But it doesn't work at all....
I did this because I can't write filesystem to myK850 ATM, so this is alternative that I though.
If it is work(describe file's absolute location), it doesn't need to write all this swf file and thm file to phone's filesystem and it'll very easy to change!
Anybody has any idea about it?

mad rabbit i still think you have to have the everchanging.swf file in the fs m8, and could you send me precision theme please

I think we can use SWF flash animations with standby and screensavers but not as menu icons,not by XML editing...I tried to integrate hidden-peaks SWF from the W910 in the XML of one of my theme + add it to the thm pack but the K850 won't set it!
Anyway it's already a great step forward to be able to use flash animations + special functions as accelerometer compared to K800...
If only Eseth can share a tutorial on that! |

I know my friend had a w850i and when she opened the menu there was some basic icons, but when selected, a glow with a trail circled round it, very much like the vista loading icon. When she moved it in the oproate direction, instead of stapping to position, the glow would move over and continue circling the new icon, it also vibrated when arrow keys were pressed, very like the k850. |

Hey - what exactly do I do with those icons to make them work with my themes? I tried using the default laser precision theme on my phone, but all the icons were the default ones (nonflash). |

Is your phone branded? Did you download the theme from the web and install it that way.. If you did.. The theme and flash BG will work but the icons will stay the same.. I don't know why this is I just know it happens with branded k850i phones from Rogers (I tried to install this theme myself and it did what I described).
If you find a solution let me know!! |

I found a link showcasing some very cool flash themes for SE phones that support flash.. But I don't speak the language used on the site.. So I can;t figure out how to download any of them..
If anybody can figure out how to download the themes from this site it would be really cool.. Please let me know how!

Dude Open The normal page den open a babelfish tab. coppy an paste the adress den click on the russian page wer u wanna clik. u gotta create an account 1s bt create it on russian site den u just clik the download button (duznt say download obv cz its russian)

Hi again I might have a few flash menus comming up all i have to do is figure out the laser precision coding and we will have loads of themes.

Hi i No i keep posting but cmon guys i need replys. I no how to make the themes with flash menu's you ned sumthing like xs++ to do the job but i cannot find a program that works.
So in answer to what you said u gotta do wt im tryin to do an that just wont work u have to embed the menu in the phone..

Just made a sick ShakeIt .swf theme for the k850i!! Features awesome art and graphics from vancouver artist Alex Rousey and Dussault Apparel, took me a few hours to make and everytime you shake your phone a new wallpaper fades in!! Transfer the file into your "themes" folder on your phone for optimal performance , enjoy!!
