Objectors to the my-symbian promotions in the opening post can be satisfied that I have removed the promotions, to avoid distraction and mis-interpretation (along with updating the links in the post).
For the record, I play no part in the management of the site. I am only an appreciative forum-member, recognizing the positive service the site renders. I'm fond of giving credit where credit is due, and am a firm believer in showing tangible appreciation.
my-symbian's platform has been crucial in facilitating discussion of the issue and creation of the letter.
EDIT: Re-wording for clarification

*Update*
According to the tracking service, the first of the couriered letters arrived at the SE UK offices yesterday.
The CEO in question may be reading the letter by early next week so please visit the link
http://www.bli.com.ar/openletter/open.html
if you're interested in this campaign.
We are also looking for anyone who will be attending the smartphone show, who would be willing to hand copies of the letter to the SE people there ( PM me if you can).
Thanks ! |

Hi all,
Well obviously i have added my name to the signature list and i really can't see how any one that bought a UIQ3 device or is even a supporter of SE can fail to do so.
What remains to be seen is how the new CEO responds to this letter if it is just met as usual for SE with a wall of silence that obviously IMO will not be a good or encouraging sign for the future.
Marc

Since it is confirmed that the letter has reached SE UK HQ, tomorrow there is going to be an organization with /. and digg.
We need to get as many participants as possible within a given time frame to make the event to the front page.
Please keep an eye here as we will post the details on how to participate.
In the mean time, for those who are not registered, please register to these two to be ready to vote tomorrow.
This may well be our last chance to make our voices be heard, so let's try to make the most of it.
EDIT: The voting will be scheduled for thursday. We will announce the time frame as soon as the organization is confirmed.

The couriered letter arrived at the SE UK offices last week, I have confirmed that Mr K's PA collected it.
Now we wait a for a response.
Of course the question is, what is a decent time period to wait, and that's open to debate.
The new CEO post is only official on 1 Nov, so that gives us at leat another 2 weeks to wait.
