I can't believe I got slated for having a sense of humour, or was it because the people who were dishing it out are a little bit slow?!?! But we have to forgive them, it's not there fault if thier brains been fried by a Pokemon (hey devilish), for the rest of you, I'll just have to assume that you're inbred.

oh and pachy the encyclopedia was a little out of reach so as usual Google came to the rescue (ever been to Googlism.com? can have amusing results)

GUYS THIS IS REALLY F***ING INTERESTING,ITS A PRESS RELEASE FROM SONY ERICSSON... PLS READ THRU CAREFULLY!!!

Sony Ericsson Again Delays Launch of Camera Phone
2 hours, 10 minutes ago Add Technology - Reuters to My Yahoo!

By Mats Falck and Olof Swahnberg

STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Struggling Swedish-Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson (news - web sites) said on Wednesday it would start offering its flagship P800 camera mobile phone in only three countries next week, again delaying a mass-market launch.

The limited rollout means the loss-making company will miss most of the Christmas shopping spree, possibly losing more ground to successful competitors such as Nokia (news - web sites), which will have introduced 30 new models this year.

Sony Ericsson, created last October from the loss-making units of telecoms equipment maker Ericsson and consumer electronics giant Sony, had initially planned to have the P800 model in shops in the third quarter.

It later said the phones would be delivered in volumes in December and early January, depending on the market.

"We will launch it in Sweden, the United Arab Emirates and in Greece next week, because that is where we have service centers," said Roger Bolander, who is responsible for the firm's mobile phone sales in the Nordic region.

"In January and February we plan to launch it globally along with the low-end, mass market phone T100."

Sony Ericsson has been steadily losing market share to competitors Nokia, Motorola, Samsung and Siemens, partly because it has been unable to deliver its phones in volume to shops in time.

Sony Ericsson has some five percent of the global market and company officials said it needed between seven and 10 percent to become profitable. Nokia makes more than every third phone sold.

The high-end P800 is one of only a few products so far jointly developed by Sony and Ericsson. It will follow in the footsteps of the highly successful T68 color screen mobile with an attachable camera.

The telecoms industry believes that sending pictures between mobile phones in the same way that users now send short text messages will be the next popular application generating new revenues and creating demand for more advanced handsets.

The P800 is a combination of a digital camera, mobile phone and a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) with a large color screen. Sony Ericsson estimates that without a subscription, it could sell for $890 to $1,110.

"It will not be a mass-market phone. It has a clear target group and is expensive, but I do not fear it will not sell," said Per Alksten, marketing manager in the Nordic region.

The P800 will compete with Nokia's 7650 color screen mobile phone, which also has an built-in camera, though no PDA functions.

Nokia said Tuesday that demand for high-end color screen phones was low and that therefore it would not sell as many this year as earlier expected.

SO SE MIDDLE EAST WAS RIGHT! FINALLY!!!!!!!
