@qvga
how often do you look at your images taken by your phone/digi cam in full size? i mean really, tell me you dont just put them on your computer and look at them?
why are you always negative with scared to admit it has a decent camera?

No i dont view them at full res. But then again, i dont judge their quality by those resized pics. If no one views them on their full size, then whats the point of 5MP?

The sharpness of those pictures is great. I am looking forward to seeing more.

@qgva: Stop being so harsh, man. You are always ruining the happy-go-lucky friendly mood of the discussions. I mean, "utterly uselesss'? Now, that's not true and you know it. Besides, you can express yourself in a different way rather than a flame-ish one you often use.
You fill my pants with sand!!! (as in, you're ruining my fun)
Oh, and the main point of 5MP is to have more detail in the resized pics.

whats the point of me having a 7.2mp digi cam then, i dont look at its pics full size.
unless im into profressional photography, or photography is a favourite hobby of mine, then theres no need for me to look at full size images imho. my pics are just memories..... |

questions matey!
* are the shots in the intersection taken using BestPic™?
* does using date stamps on K810 makes the pic lesser in quality?
coz you hardly use date stamps on your amazing pix.
The snaps plankgatan posted are ones he gathered from reviews from different sites. He's waiting for his phone just like the rest of you.
yup i know, and those were clearly taken by K810. so i am just merely fishing for tips.

eeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhh.
i wrote in my first post "some k850i pics (shrinked)."
(i thought you understood that a 5 M.P image become BIGGER then this in full size)
of course i shrink them. i do it of two things
¤ they get to big to show on web sites, (no bigger point otherwise)
¤ people with slow internet connection maybe want to see the pics the same day (or something).
i also see that k850 takes better Bestpic & lowlight then k810i..............(i also have a k810...i love that phone)

You'd be forced to look at a picture at full size if you were to print a blow-up of one! (Then the first reaction would be: Man! This camera phone stinks!
Most of you kids don't need a 5MP camera phone. 1MP or maximum 2MP is enough if you only view your photos on a monitor and never actually print them. (Pearls before swine?) How many of you have actually put a photo on a CD or a memory stick and wandered down to the local photo shop and asked for a large print?

I've printed out hundreds of 5x7" 2.0MP photos and have couple of albums full.
5.0MP will mean I will be able to print slightly bigger ones which will be highly detailed. Believe me, I have got better than acceptable results from a K750i. This will be great.
Anyway, we should reserve this thread for those nice K850i pictures .

I think its fair to say that in the models that have been going around for review the N95 and even G600 faired better than the k850.
The only area in which the K850 fell behind was the colour representation. The detail at full resolution WAS there, not only that but the detail beats the pants of both the N95 and the G600 so stop going on about full sized pics QVGA.
All we need to see is if the colours have been sorted out in the final retail version and this can easily be seen from resized pics.
