yea! pretty silly.. and abit pointless.. why not just press a dedicated button for NEXT track, and PREV tracks...

than to shake it to the left or right...

and on the otherhand, if we wont press walkman button while shaking, un intentional shakes might trigger the changing of tracks... so SE has a point on pressing the walkman button... just abit silly having the shake feature.

rather more silly when your in a public place and shaking your phone like that, making the impression that you have a faulty phone and your crazy in love with it..

its just a gimmick!
if you are to embarrassed to use it while out in public, then dont use it.

hell some people who see u in public might even know your phone is suppose to be doing that

if you dont wanna use it... then dont.. good!

but then its technology and features were talking here... if there are other easy way to do it.. thats convenience... and it goes with technology to make life easy.. right?!

still the point of others here is... yes its a pointless feature... it just so happens it carries the walkman branding.. so it goes hand in hand all the way thru.
you can be fab shaking yer phone with a walkman logo.. genius.

the TILTING of the phone for me is acceptable.. i just hope SE would go thru that path.. rather to venture into shaking

and abit retro if i might add.. remember those days when your old walkman doesnt run coz the batt is low.. you shake em... aaahh! reminiscing.

at the end of the day, this feature is only included just so that younger people will want to buy the phone.the same goes with that LG phone that has the scratch feature, totally useless...

To do the shake trick:

1. Go to walkman
2. Keep the walkman button pressed and while it is pressed shake your phone.
3. It will play random song but i think it's useless to put shuffle song on in this phone.

Great feature...Liked the phone...Awesome

Check out the pedometer; a bit more useful.... if it had on/off in the settings... surely there's a better application for the accelerometer.

I like the way it's called an accelerometer. Sound much better than a magnet

there is a way of shakeing your phone without pressing any buttens on the front screen press these buttens in this order:
1.the walkman butten
2.the play butten
3.the down butten
4.the right butten
5.the right butten
6.the walkman butten

yes i did mean to put the right butten in twice. but when you go off the walkman/music player part of your phone when you go back on you will have to type it all in again.

but i only came across this by chance i prest the rong buttens and it started doing this

walkman phones rock
