man why do you bother yourself???
this is not possible...

although,my ds-970 remembers volume level even after restarting phone(and you know volume on the phone is synced with ds970's) unless i repair two devices....but this is only for when i'm going to listen to music through ds970 not with phone's speaker....

so,your need is achieved by using a stereo bluetooth handsfree....

W810 also has the same behaviour. There must be a reason to it. Or all the above mentioned models have the same buggy firmware!

@decay_zeit, that makes things fairly more complicated

imo, 's set it like that because they try to prevent ear blowing. why? because you could have left the volume all up the last time you played some music.

sounds logical i guess, as when u put loud volume for ringtones it warns about ear damage

I use to restart my phone once on about 24 hours. Mainly when I get up at the morning. Restarting the phon gives it some kind of refresh, recover used "phone ram memory or something" imo. Anyway the volume level "forget" does not annoy me at all. I think it is normal feature for such phone to restore to it's factory predefined volume settings...
