What I dont get, that in 2005, SE were the first for new, innovative stuff. The k750 is the evidence. The first phone to feature, a 2mp, AF cam. Back in the day it was rich and sur-passed every thing a phone had to offer. Now they are trailing behind companies like nokia who are putting more new things in.

Remember a year ago when the n95 was released? It took a year for SE to announce somthing remotely close to it, and the n95, a year old phone still has more features then SE's flag ship! Its a unhealthy trend. I think they have to release more new, innovative things instead of re-packaging k800's and k750's with little names attatched when they dont deliver, eg cyber shot.

The only think diffrent in there new phones are gimmic, preety media orginisation menus and a motion sensor which apple already introduced months before the announcement of the k850, w910 and 60.

Its about time SE started making more and more phones with new high end specs instead of releasing mid and low ends.

There's one solution to this problem. It is for Ericsson to dump Sony! The latter is really tarnishing the former's image and reputation.

From a financial viewpoint, that wouldn't be smart at all.
Besides, Sony has the rights to the walkman and cyber-shot brand names.
And hey, Sony ain't so bad.

I just hope they announce some kind of 7.2MP 3x optical zoom camera phone on 14th Nov...

Have faith in SE!

I agree with the AF part.
About the HSDPA one - they are already starting to do that
I mean, K850, W910 and W960 have HSDPA. If they stick to this trend, then that means that all new high-end mobiles will have it.

SE even killed bluetooth inovation.
no more bluetooth long range
no special bluetooth acc (after the car, the killed the mobile cam)

bluetooth is linked to the legacy of ericsson, they should keep it amongst their priority's.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA

follow motorola? I think it is one of the worst performance mobile manufacture company. Motorola ppl said they did not expect any profit in 2007 while other mobile companies are making big money. .

@NightBlade- Obviously my wish is unlikely to happen. I mean SE is profitable at this stage so they wouldn't throw so much money away. This is my wish and I'm sure many others'. My faith in SE is already shattered!

The problem with SE is that they have made up their minds of what is important to its customers. That means if all other manufacturers are implementing a new feature, se will only speed up if it they want. Otherwise they dont really care. On the other hand, Samsung and LG react quickly to competitors and have been doing well. SE should learn from them.

he he ^^ yes, i agree with all of you.I dont know why they make some good fones with lack of important function.Look at w960 with no edge and the specs are not really impressive as compared to old N95.

W960i will be outdated before it hits the market.

But it DOES have 3G and HSDPA, doesn't it? Thats a couple of times FASTER than EDGE. SE is not to blame that some countries can't be bothered to build 3G networks.
EDGE is a bit outdated, IMO.
