Here is a shot of my Pre-commercial ( code warriors, kit ) This shows you the duo stick and it's adapter compared to a regular 128Meg memory stick.

thanks rudedog, interesting picture.
as a memorystick fan you can tell me, what are the available mb sizes for memorystick duo? the one included with p800 is 16mb afaik. are there 128mb memorystick duo or more? are they much more expensive than normal memorysticks?

webwatcher, cool that you got the phone, but you got to be a complete idiot to tell us that we have to go to powerforum or what it is called to read your review, everything in there is dutch!
So please write a review of the phone in english here as well! |

after checking out www.memorystick.org for some duo info. They state their road map will take both the standard sticks as well as the duo to 1 gig. To be honest, they have to, too compete with other removable media.
Both the duo and standard sticks are the exact same format. The only difference is the duo is thinner, and a lot shorter. I tried to insert one of my standard stick into the phone but it would not fit beyond the outer casing of the p800
I have an old 16 meg (somewhere), I'm going to sacrifice for the sake of "hacking" I know it will hang out the side of the phone, but would like to xfer some things to the internal memory or external memory "on the road" a standard 128 would make a nice backup when away from home.

Did you manage to get the p800 to sync yet? It doesn't work with the older sync software from the T68i via BT or via USB (which win2k was unable to find a driver anyway). I thought it would treat it generically and sync, but I can't seem to make it go. I'm doing a corporate eval of the unit, but the pre-commericial release had no software with it. I've got a query into my SE rep but I thought I'd see if anyone had a hint while I waited if there was a way to get it working.
