Did you put the proper menu.ml file provided with the icons? Maybe that is the problem. Because I have tried to change the icons, and if you create this folder structure: "files_to_upload/tpa/preset/system/menu" and there put the menu.ml and all the icons you like it should work. Try with another menu or menu.ml file.

I tried to use a animated gif as icon and it worked!!! Just rename png by gif in menu.ml and voila!

About the OPEN FAILED it's absolutly normal the first time,then just press disconnect and connect and hold C again!

@Bronxdude: Have you installed the flash drivers correctly? And which version of XS++ you are using. It may be the PC sometimes. I mean the operating sytem and etc...
i have done it with XP. i installed everything. ont know what to do anymore!  help. LOL |

previously i've tried to google and search but no one describe how to use XS++in detail. |

@Bronxdude: Try holding 2 and 5 pressed down on the phone instead of the C button. I know there were some K800s that the 2 and 5 trick succeeded on. So maybe you are lucky  .

just a quick Q, how long is this supposed to take? i tried uploading my camdriver, it toke 45 mins uploading and nothing happened. so i unplugged the fone thank god it was still working. so what am i doing wrong? everything went smoothly until i tried uploading the files. it just stuck there, plz let me know if there is anything im doing wrong.

@bronxdude: In the XS++ folder you have to create the folowing folder structure:
files_to_upload
>tpa
>preset
>system
>menu - and put here the icons you want and the menu.ml file.
Then use XS++ and it's FSX to upload the files as shown in the tutorial on the first page. So only the files you upload are different. Other is the same .

Can some one tell me how long is it supposed to upload the camera driver to the phone? is 45 mins too long or is it normal? regards. |
