like n95 prices were quite high, but it's new it's innovative so ppl will buy.
i had the (luck?) to play with the iphone last week.
i wasn't too keen on it, but after a few min. i changed my mind.
the housing feels realy solid, and all seems to work quite nice and easy.
however due the lack of 3th party apps the iphone is not an option to me
no the N95 wasnt??? i got mine the month of release paid £100, on a 12 month £30 per month contract!

Hi all,
Well i am really curious to see what 02 do with their data charges as if they stay as they are currently this device will be a complete non starter or cost you thousands of pound over the course of the contract.
It is going to be really interesting to see what 02 come up with but the knock on effect could be really good news for all 02 Data users. Unless of course they just have a special Data plan for the iPhone but i would imagine that would upset all the other 02 data users big time.
Marc

Seriously though, does anyone think that they are going to sell many iphones? I am seriously asking, not being rhetorical?
I see the iPhone as an American phone made solely for their way of doing business in the cellular arena and not for the rest of the world.
Who on here is going to keep their iPhone after a year if/when SE develops an iPhone rival with a 6meg camera, similar interface and ships it with a standard 8GB card.
Seriously though, the iPhone basically has everything that a P990i came out with except the interface those specs are now more or less getting outdated.
I was lucky enough to hold and play with one the following week after it came out and I am impressed with only the interface and webrowser and no other aspects of the phone ability.

Either Apple have made a really spalt error by not choosing t-mobile in the UK or they plan to extort huge amounts of money in data charges. O2 aren't known for their cheap data plans are they? In fact you could argue theirs is the most expensive.

If it is anything like the US deal then O2 will give unlimited data with the tariff. AT&T in the US made a tariff especially for the iPhone and I suspect O2 will do the same. |

Is the AT&T data tariff included in the price or is it a bolt-on?
Mind you, that creaky old gprs network wouldn't exactly encourage data use.

The AT&T monthly £60 tariff includes 400 minutes and unlimited data. They use EDGE in the US so data speeds is ok but not amazing.
