Indeed, your camera seems to be faulty. Dont you have warranty?

I don't know if it is faulty, because I had the same problem when i had my k750. I really think it has something to do with my settings and photography skills, or lack thereof.

But seriously, i goto a site like this:

And I see the pics, and all I can think is, why the hell cant I take something remotely similar to that?

im about to believe that the problem is your camera. get it replaced.

thinking deeper...... save a pic on your memory stick and save one on your phone's memory. then compare them.

I'm on my mobile so i can't see the pics that well, but it just looks over-exposed to me. Have you tried under exposing one or two stops?

Being in your mobile doesn't mean you have double post . Anyways, his pics look pixelated. So it does not have nothing to do with the exposure.

make sure the picture is properly focused, i found even if it went green, your picture can still be out of focus.

If you have focused, and the pic isnt looking nice and sharp, refocus. Dont rely on the green focus indicator, the same went for the K750.

Also, try taking more than one picture. Use bestpic its a great feature! I always find i get a much better picture if i take several shots.

Hope that helps?

I didn't know it had double posted. That never happens for me before (I haven't posted from mobile in ages)?

And by the way he says his pictures are washed out that's hardly a pixelation issue? All I meant was if his pictures are washed out, he might be able to improve them by reducing exposure (especially since it looks like the photoshopping he did to fix the picture was to adjust the brightness/contrast)?

Despite what you say, I still think reducing the exposure will help. Whether he has a faulty camera or not, reducing the exposure in bright conditions will surely help improve the photos without having to photochop them afterwards?

yes but there are lot's of improvement in K800 UI, plus there are no white lines as you get in low light pics of K750. Only way to fix this in K750 was modded camdriver.

So there are improvements. By modding the K800 driver, I think we can get back the advantages of K750 without gaining it's disadvantages, plus we get 3MP
