Phone showing wrong time! |

AFAIK, nokias dont show time in the reports..they just say "delivered" and datz it....datz y i never noticed with my fancy high end nokias...but now that im on SE, it just gets to my nerves...

Of course they do, my nokia 6030 shows time on delivery reports.

I get this problem sometimes with my W810i.
I guess, it happens when the reciever of the SMS has not set the correct time because the delivery report shows the time of the reciever. Not the network.

i thought that too...on telenor i now sometimes get the correct time and sometimes not...FOR THE SAME RECEIVER i.e my gf....its defo a network prob

If the time zone is set to GMT+1:00h and the handset time set to the current time, this should resolve the issue for anyone experiencing issues with delivery reports being 1 hour behind their handset time.
I had experienced the same problem mentioned above and this has resolved my issue. Granted, this will probably not resolve all instances of the issue, since the hour of the delivery reports of some users seems to vary, but hopefully it will help others who have experienced the same issue as me. |
