Any new developments? Mine seems even worse then the one in the picture above. In well lit areas, the green tint is less noticable, but as it gets darker, the tint is more evident on my p1i. |

Can anyone confirm if the green tint remains with the new firmware? |

i just get a decent unit regards hardware and now i've noticed it on mine. it is actually very green and i'd say much more than a tint. it completely changes the colour of my dog's fur! |

Its a lot more noticeable on the phone I would say, but you can maybe see it in that photo. |

Shame about that tint. I remember the N73 had a similar issue only it was a purple haze and was only visible in low light situations. That I dont think was never fixed.

the same also with the first fw release of N95, there's also the purple tint or some called it 'mars effect' but was corrected when nokia released the second fw.
i just hope se will also fix this.

Even if it is a hardware defect (Which it seems to be) Surely it would be possible to attempt to correct it a little in software? Tone the green channel down slightly for the right hand side of the image (If its the same area for everyone that is) |

Once again I have to say there is no way to knwo for sure it will be corrected. Its like the N73 all over again.
The funny thing is ive not noticed it in any pictures from review models. |

I hadn't noticed it before but today I took some pictures in a white room and the effect is very clear. This bothers me quite a bit actually because I was planning to use the camera a lot. I know it's not a cybershot phone but a green wash still sucks.
But what are the chances of it getting fixed? Most likely it's a hardware issue, but I don't think SE is going to recall any P1i's for this. Unless the cmos explodes.
Still love my P1i though |

Got my P1i 2 days ago and I just noticed it as well... very annoying coming from an N95. I was expecting SE's good color accuracy but I guess that's only for the cybershot phones.
Well I have 30 days to decide if I want to keep it... |
