Advanced Device Locks for UIQ 3. It lets you have a passcode to access the phone. Haven't checked out the details though. I think you can even lock certain applications with a code too.

You can enter a code you must use to open the phone whne the no activity lock is used. Or am I missunderstanding the problem.
it's a normal keylock, but rather than requiring (*, unlock) to unlock the phone it will require entering a code, so no body can use the phone as they dont know the code..
note I don't mean the SIM or PHONE pin code, wich is optionally required in phone startup, I mean when you leave the phone unused for some second the keypad will automatically be locked, the default in SE is to press * then unlock to unlock the keypad so you can use the phone...
I don't want it to require (*, UNLOCK) but to enter a code, every body knows the (*, UNLOCK) thing, but nobody except you know the code, so nobody will be able to use the phone if you leave it for a while for example...
If you don't have two girlfriends on the go you wouldn't need this feature
hhhh, I don't even have one

Hello, did you ever find out how to do this? I have the same problem on mine, I can't handle it locking after 1 min all the time, i'm constantly having to enter my pin code 30 or 40 times a day. |
