K810i buttons falling off! |

thanks for all your replys guys. Although, no one seems to be havin the same problem. i'll keep you posted when k810 number 3 arrives this afternoon, hopefully no more buttons will drop off! |

does that mean, that the keys are separately on the keypad, not the traditional way, so it can be replaced one by one too?

Well, i've had my new k810i for 4 days, and already the small square browser button has lifted up, and i can see the white plastic keypad membrane. i've hardly used the phone in the 4 days i've had it!

you must have extremely bad luck! no one else on here has had build quality issues afaik (not 100% sure though) tell orange you want an unbranded one, see if it helps

It pretty annoying as i love the phone, and use the camera loads! i've tried to upload a pic, but teh server won't accept it. its a jpeg . any ideas? |

Make sure you resize it (600 x 450 should be ok). Best to use a picture hosting service such as Tinypic upload the photo to there and copy and paste the code which looks like this (without spaces)

And your photo should appear in the post.

cheers. the pic is a bit out of focus, my digi cam doesn't have a macro feature. but you can still make out the button lifting up.

just recieved my 4TH K810i from orange this mornig, hopefully no more buttons will fall off, has anybody else had any button issues with the k810? |

not much over here.. just a bit wiggly, i only wish in wont turn out to be falling buttons...
its your internet button that falls off does it?! my wiggly button is the back button.

I've seen a K810i with a buttopn off as described, and that was on orange. It seems to be something specific to the Orange branding.

maybe Oragne is changing the inside of the phones?! Causing these buttons to be loosen?

the buttons on mine are starting to rub off. Even when the thin layer rubbed off, it still looks shinny.
