 I dont think that'd even work lol.
I've even tried removing the speaker cover (which is metal by the way) from the orange housing to see if that revealed anything but nope...

I managed to get a very fine pair of tweezers up under here (see yellow arrow) then the left side clips off. Then i just popped it off along the top side. It all just came off then. No problems!
I just need some super glue now to hold the clear plastic display cover onto the new housing...

Finally got arund to finishing this!
I've now got me a totally black w610i with flash themes! Yay!
IMO it looks loads better in black. I did consider putting the orange back on it too but then stopped at a totally black Walkman!

I don't think a K550/W610 hybrid is possible, the center piece is different
i.e. the K550 camera button is different from the W610's camera button |

I'm sure I will find a way! I'm only going for a W610 front piece anyway so that it is a Cybershot/Walkman phone with a good cam and  player!

I don't have any idea about it but I will keep looking up to the internet in order to find instructions to disassemble it. I have a question: is the loudspeaker as big as the group of small holes of the cover? |
