I don't really think custum avatars are that great.
I mean, some forums look really messy because the avatars often are very distracting. But it's been discussed, and the consensus is that sticking with what we've got, which is SE phones, is part of what the forum is like.

this has been in the making for a while now and i'm finaly happy with it (this took me 2 weeks and i ant doing a totorial on how i made it) but if anyone wants some totorials i'm qute happy (appart from this one)
btw i know i cant spell

ok here comes what is the best photoshop tutorial ever
We will create a green transparent Slime texture like in the pic below. Use it for sig backgrounds, website backgrounds, whatever..!
Step 1
Create a blank document of your desired size, the example is 400x400px. but i'd recomend 600x600px
Hit D to set your colors to standard
Click Filter --> Render --> Clouds
Step 2
Grab the paintbucket tool, make sure the color is set to black and stat clicking around in your image until it looks something like this:
Step 3
Now you need to apply the Chrome Filter. ( Filter --> Sketch --> Chrome)
Set Detail to 0 and Smoothness to 10.
Step 4
Alright, now for the green slime color hit CTRL+B and set it to this: (remember to change the little checkboxes down the bottom each time)
Once again!
And one last time!
There you go! Green Slime ... eeeek
and feel free to use this
and the next totorial i'll be doing is fiery text

the first one looks brill looks as if u forgot to select the difrent box each time on the second one
NEXT fiery text, yup you'll be able do make your own fiery text
can anyone get me some font making software so we can put it into word documents and like
