Still 2.5?
Then how come focusing is better? Must have been a deeper update, or a silent camera driver update... |

As the phone is 99% identical to K800i, there's nothing much to say and expect. All is already stable. No major bug and definetely no major improvements will be made. |

That's why I always say 'it's my feeling only'. The phone is 99% identical to K800i. |

Just upgraded the firmware to R6BC002 HK version on my K810i.
- PhotoFix takes ages to process.
No problem for me... it process pretty quickly!
- Faster picture saving although Date and Time stamp is activated. Just realised that...never have it activated before.
Mine very slow in saving after turn on the date and time
Overall, the menu speed is pbviously faster and more smooth
Anyone of you guys uses 3G call here?
i did after the update... nothing new... (a call to a P990i took about 5mins continuous)
wots your observation?!

I'm still not satisfied with camera quality. for me, K800i pix look better.
No JAVA bugs (testing in progress)
Hope pix look better than in r1kg001, because they where a "mess" there. They look good on the display when browsing through them, but when they clear, it looks like a filter is applyed (blur?+lowering contrast?). I'm still testing the phone. Hope it supports 4GB cards. |

well pictures are much better than the grainy k800i ones I had before. The
issue with the date/time display colour that aremaboy highlighted I haven't
been able to reporduce. One thing I have spotted is that TC has the wrong
colour fields from input1 shown on input2 - i.e. you don't get on the phone
what's shown in theme creator !!
Enabled date time stamp for pictures is definately quicker to save on R6BC
than the previous firmware. It does appear to have an auto focus issue
when there is not much marked contrast in the view, e.g. shiney objects
in bright sunlight.

My K810 won't update on SEUS. Just says I have the latest firmware but I don't get the Continue Anyway option that used to be there.
I bought the phone from Carphone Warehouse 2 weeks ago and used Wotanserver to update to R6BC002 and have experienced a few problems since which is why I wanted to reflash it with SEUS.
Problems found since flashing with Wotan are
Battery rapidly discharges
Takes nearly a minute to save a picture when the date stamp is on
Only the first 5 words are saved when entering text using the web browser resulting in only a small amount of what is typed being sent.
RSS reader no longer works.
Picture is quite grainy when transferred to a computer when a picture is taken in the Fine setting.
The software that was installed from Wotanserver was:

hhmmm - going to have to do some more tests. mine's set to fine but I can't
say there's any "graininess" .... I'll have a play and post back any findings.

its because Wotanserver told you that your K810 is under R6BC firmware. its the latest firmware there is.
not unless you wanted to try downgrading to R1KG. and try the difference?! of course you hafta shell out for the logs. i guess flashing down to R1KG only costs a single log.

So if i use wotan to downgrade to R1K. SEUS should update the phone. Strange that as i didn't have to do that with my K800.
