samsung cameras typically were able to capture document text better than any other phone's brand even though they have no autofocus and macro. thanks to it's small camera lens aperture rating making those things possible  with their excellent technology they were able to incorporate 3mp camera sensor in a 5.9/ slim phone without having enormous noise in it's images so i'm sure slimness is not a problem for their camera phones

a few sites claim it does have 3G but the camera on the front is missing!
if you wait for the G700 im sure it like the U700 will have 3G

Samsung unveils G600 5mp phone
Today Samsung officially confirmed the Samsung G600 - its latest 3G cameraphone armed with an impressive 5 megapixel camera. According to the manufacturer, it should be the slimmest slider of its class with only 14,9 mm.
The Samsung G600 features Bluetooth v2.0, a FM radio with RDS, USB 2.0 support and a microSD slot. The G600's TFT display measures good 2.3" and boasts QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) resolution.
Nice 'model' samsung! 
The Samsung G600 should first ship in Europe, but the exact release date is still unknown - so is its pricing

Give me till tommorrow night and I'll tell you when this, and the Samsung G800 (possibly a higher end model) will be coming into O2 store, roughly.
As Mr.Myagi (spelling? i can never remember lol) will tell you/back me up, it's been on our 'Future Handsets' list for some time, and I've been picking my brains as to which phone it is. Now I know

I'm NOT sure if this Samsung 5 MP can BEAT the hell (cam) with that of the K850  But I'm sure it has the sharpest/clearest - LCD at that !

I think it's due mid September. All I know is it's code name was, and still is 'Mighty', and the G800 is something along the lines of 'Troika' or something like that.

agree, samsung is the leader in LCD displays and i was very impressed with their phone model's LCD quality. very exceptional
