I have never ever hada problem with teh RF on my T68i's ever. My Nokia 8290 has had worse RF in the same places where the RF on the T68 is better. Nokia has 6 phones coming out, true. BUt don't you have to ask yourself how many of those six(if any) are orignal concepts? Or are they just adding a feature or 2 and changing faceplates as usual? HMMMMM tough to answer that one ehh? Or is it that Nokia is just ripping people off redoing and revamping older models into new ones and charging premium money for it? The software is great ehh? They are still using the same basic menus as I had on my 6190 4 years ago. LOL so new.

I agree.... Go to the comparison chart here on esato compare all the new nokia phones they are all the same (except for 7250). The only difference is the look I live here in The U.S. and 7210 is coming out next month I have already seen it and My expectations were a lot better. I was gonna switch from t68i but I did not realize how big the thing is. And the software is horrible we have the most current versions of software on our t68i's here and it is better than the 7210...

I stick to my t68i

I know some people that really like 7650 because it is big!! Depends on the mood!!
Keep in mind, it’s not which company produces the best phones around, but what people really need. Go out and ask some people if they know what Bluetooth is. People need quick menus, really good SMS writing, good reception, nice colours, nice design. They don’t remember ( or they don’t care) if T68i is one year or two years in the market. They do remember that the Nokia they have is ok, and will continue with Nokia because everybody has a Nokia! As simple as that. And because Sony Ericsson has the worst sales marketing policy in history.
Look at Xbox from Microsoft. They are preferring to sell the console by losing 100 Euros in every console they sell , just to get people to THINK if it is better to buy Playstation 2 or Xbox. This is marketing policy, my friends. I have a lot of money, I don’t care about losing some money, but I want more and more people to know that there is another console in the market and maybe I should ask some other people and buy magazines in order to see if the playstation 2 that I was READY to buy is still the best console around.

That is what Sony Ericsson must do. Reduce all the phone prices, and let people know that T68i is a good phone and they should think about that phone.

Yes... I know

mr savoy - if you noticed I did say that on the t68 itself the mca 20 is shit. I didn't say that on a laptop screen or somethin its shit. I know its good but my point is that the screen on the t68 makes the mca 20 look absolutley crap so whats the point in owning an mca 20 when you cant even appreciate the pic quality? Again buying a £20 digi cam from sainsburys would prob give better pics and is £100 cheaper. The 7650 is good as you can appreciate the pictures that it takes as the screen is so much better.

People who say the 7210s keypad is crap must be the sort of people who fear change. Could I ask all of the people who say its crap if they have used one? If you used that phone for a month you would get used to it! If mobile phones had all their numbers on the keypad in a straight line running down the phone and then someone brought out the keypad like todays you would probably complain about that. HAVE AN OPEN MIND!

7210 has the nicer screen and poly rings, but it's still not feature-packed like a t68... the t68m/i is one of the most feature-packed phones on the market... and it is/was ahead of the competition by many lengths...

i've heard some good stuff on reception, and i do give propz to any handset that provides good rf... even motorola... hehe...

The Nokia 7650 camera does not produce results as good as the T68i and MCA-20 Communicam, no-one in my office think it does - but I suppose it's all a matter of tastes (I am not talking about viewing it on the phone where the Nokia has a better screen, this is a comparison on a PC using a high quality monitor to view the pictures).

As for the Nokia 7210, it's about time it hit the market. It will probably appeal to more people simply because people like the Nokia interface and are familiar with it, the familarity factor alone gets Nokia more repeat business than anything else.

Not discussing the interface for Nokia which is faster because it's less graphically intense, the Nokia 7210 has features aimed at the mass market and has instant marketing appeal. It will do well on this against the T68i.

If you compare features, the T68i's biggest differentiator is Bluetooth. If you don't care about that and don't want Picture Call-ID or the ability to record Voice Clips to your MMS messages - then the Nokia has some very attractive features and it's a newer phone over the T68i.

Both phones have merits but to say which phone is better is a matter of taste of the individual in question. And all individuals have different tastes and requirements from a phone. It's not which phone's better, it's which phone's better for you.

Just look at Nokias poor MMS implementation. T68/T300 is way better than Nokia in this area.

It lacks bluetooth, but even more importantly it lacks an email client.

The 7210 should be compared to the T300 and not to the T68i. The 7210 and T300 has about the same features, while the T68i is still ahead of the Nokia 7210.

And Nokia is still using their old menu structure, that is really showing it's age. It was good a few years ago, but now when phones get more features it really sucks and doesn't give any overview of the functions.

The Nokia 7210 is for people who doesn't need that little extra that the T68i provides...

It's funny to hear you all compare a new Nokia handset with a T68 that has been on the market for over a year. I give credit to Nokia for taking a familiar form factor, a familiar menu interface and adding Color, fancy buttons and an internal FM Radio. I'm just suprised that it took them a year to improve the display. So if the audience is willing to pay more for a Name and get less for their money except a sharper screen, than great. Cheers! I expect to see compact, more colorful displays with integrated camera's in affordable SonyEricsson product early next year. Faster processors in the SE product is inevitable. Oh and besides the fact that everyone is trying to compare the 7650 to a T68i, I don't believe they're even in the same class of product. It's like comparing a Luxury car to an affordable commuter car and trying to justify the differences when their not targeted towards the same buyer.

Agreed and the fact that so many people can compare an ordinary commuter car to a luxury car says something about the commuter car's strength doesn't it? [addsig]

The truth of the matter is: there is on such thing as a bad phone. We are simply bored with our phones and always look forward to new models thinking that the guy next to us has a better device. Just be happy with what you got. and yes the t68 is way better then 7210 toys r us.

i don't think 7210 have faster access over thier menu option. if u could spend a little more time get familiar with the menu option by pressing the no. it's a way faster than nokia. i use option key to access the option i want. rather than scrolling up and down for the option i want.
