Hi all.

As a few of you have been asking about W880 or K810 I think I am qualified to tell you as I moved from the W880 to the K810. Before the W880 I had a silver K800. I moved to the W880 and loved the metallic, solid, small feel. The buttons are small and take getting used to. Once you do however they are ok but sometimes catch you out. The player is obviously great but the camera is pretty bad (2 mpix no AF). Also the screen is a bit small really.
Now the K810. Again seem to have sorted themselves out regarding build quality. This phone is pretty solid no creaks or movement from mine (sim free uk model). The camera, as ever, is awesome! You appreciate it a lot more after having a weak camera. The buttons are very easy to use and the screen is nice. Photofix works very well and so does trackID (a feature I really liked on the W880).
Since the move I have not looked back, even though I like to use my phone for music the walkman version 1 "clone" music player is ok.

I deffo recommend the K810, aswell as recommending it over the W880. have made a phone that the K800 should have been all along and even though it is only a slight upgrade for K800 users you will definately feel and like the difference. As masseur said "an old friend in a new suit".

ok K810 owners.. lemme get back with the keys... well not actually the keys...

But wots in-between them, is that like breakable plastic?
Im kinda worried that if you accidentally drop the phone... will it have a crack on those plastic over quote in-between the keys. I havent seen K810 personally since it hasnt arrive here at my end.

much thanks guys! raring to have this phone.... but still keep my K750 as a spare.

I have to wonder - Are the Keys on the K810 metal or chrome plated plastic? If they are plastic I wonder if the chrome will wear away as seems to be the case with any chrome coated plastic.

Yeah the keys appear to be "machined" in a circular motion. Adds a nice effect too!

is it true tht k810 is all made of plastic? i got the feeling tht k800 got a better built quality, consideriny it's partly made of metal? i'm taking w880 seriously into account for its metallic finish, but does the letter got a problem with dust easily go under the screen?

ol sure mate, i'd love too, problem is i live in suburb, kinda isolated n it's quite distance frm da city!! n unlike in most places, in here u cant play around wif the real phone, most u get the dummy. Hence i'm relying my decision on esato as it has always been......

the only metal parts of the k800 was the fascia plate which didn't add a great
deal to the stuctural integrity of the phone itself - the overall build quialty of
the k800 (and K810) was what makes them solid - I've dropped my k810
onto the front door mat without any issues at all, well the battery cover
popped off !
