The phones you mentioned have the same music capabilities and very minute OS difference. So the only change remaining is the presence of WiFi and design.

Hi all,

What i find is really quite incredible is while every one screams stop all this SE bashing when someone who says they have used SE's for ages and liked them but has now been affected by a series of problems that it can only be bad luck. The other side to this is maybe all of those that have no bad experiences have just been very lucky which is the other side to the same logical argument.

@antichrist

How you can claim you have had very little problem with a M600 is truly amazing IMO as most will admit until the last 2 firmware upgrades there were still various problems it was effected by and it still has unresolved issues awaiting the now fabled coming soon R6 or even if it happens the same OS as the P1.

Either way the fact it is approaching a year since launch to me is what makes it totally unacceptable but then i suppose i just had a bad unit and was unlucky and should of just held on for another 7 months to see if it eventually gets fixed, yeah right like that really is the sensible thing to do isn't. Oh yes and i forgot just look at all the problems Nokia phones have.

Marc

I think if SE send faulty units in market.then that a shame.they should have strict quality control.SOFTWARE issues do take place.they can be tolerated

I'd say you're jinxed Hlcn, or it is in fact a faulty lot. My W800 and K790 have brought me nothing but joy and my ancient T106 still works like a dream! Mind you, I'm a school boy constantly in a rough spot and my phone's covers don't usually fare well but a quick change should do the trick. Only problem I've had is my W800's joystick but I just had it replaced. Have you checked that they're not all in the same lot?

SE's phones are definitely being let down with software issues. The k800 is a prime example...

The EROM R3A011 being prone to corruption resulting in a WSOD happened on at least 8 phones (I know another 7 ppl with k800, ALL have had this problem). Unfortunately SEUS doesn't update the EROM and it was just a question of time before you see this, requiring a trip to the service center. One poor soul had a WSOD twice! My wife's k610 also had the WSOD (same software platform).

This is addition to the call management screwing up. It looks, even with the latest EROM and firmware version to have issues here also. Again, my k800 and wife's k610 had the call management not registering calls received or made with the phone. If you had a missed call, you don't know who it was from. This required a master reset on both phones to fix it, and then time to copy the contacts and settings back in.

I've been using SE since the t68 days ... and the k800 is the most buggy phone I've used. I'm reluctant, when the time comes, to replace the k800 with another SE phone.
