How many games are there to download at wap.sonyericsson.com?

Can you go on any site using your T300 with t-Zones or are you only limmited to certain sites like mMode(AT&T) you can go on as many sites as you want to?

Sorry, I ask alot of questions.

You can go to wap.sonyericsson.com and check them out directly from your PC and see for yourself. There are about 3-4 in addition to what already came with the phone.

I am not quite suer what you mean by what sites you can go to with your phone..... WAP is a standard a subset of HTML with limitations, the T300 has WAP 2.0 so it has colors and the latest features. However only pages that are specifically designed for phone viewing (wap pages) can be viewed on it. So don't expect to go to any page and start surfing it. But for example Ebay has a wap page at www.ebay.com that can be viewed on your phone and I'm sure more and more pages will be popping up. Note that I am new to this thing myself so I am not sure what else is out there.....

YEap noticed the same thing,
e-mail menu in messages on T-mobile/USA/ can't find the server he only way to check up e-mail is trough wap. But if you open phone can't open mail.yahoo.com or wap.mail.yahoo.com and tells you some kid of buls. the only way is to go through wap.yahoo.com click on usa and so on.

I have gotten the POP3 e-mail working in my phone by asking for T-mobile Internet on my account. For $5 you get 1MB wap, + 1MB Internet + 300 SMS. So that's $2 more than the T-zones basic and you get 1MB internet for that extra $2 which is not bad at all.

The $5 plan is called Smartphone Plan and it has a SOX code of smtphn I think.....
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

The reason why it won't work with your account is two fold. The first is that the 2.99 plan only allows WAP access, so you will not be able to access any other ports from those servers. The other problem is that when you do upgrade to another plan (there are several, I'm on the 10MB plan) that allows internet access, you have to create a new GPRS profile that contains either internet2.voicestream.com or internet3.voicestream.com, the latter also happens to allow VPN access (if you want that, you need to ask for it or they will not provision you for it).

Hope that helps.

Two things I envy about T-mobile users:

1) They can use MMS

2) They can get their phones unlocked

Attention AT&T! You'd better start supporting MMS or I'm switching to T-Mobile!

3) We can also roam to Europe for $0.99 a minute and we can even call over to Australia from Europe for the same $0.99. It's $0.99 to make and receive calls in Europe even from next door or from the other side of the globe......

4) SMS works to a lot of international carriers...... However MMS doesn't as of yet, only to e-mail and other US T-mobile customers.....
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

10x GTakacs,
for spending time and explaining all that stuff .
Does anyone knows how to store the user name and password in the wap pages, cause every time I get in wap.yahoo.com to check my mail I have to enter the user name again. I tryed with the bookmark but doesn't work.

GT,

When you signed up for the $5.00 plan, is that in addition to the $2.99 T-zones plan?

Or did you cancel the $2.99 T-Zone plan?

P.S. If it makes you feel any better, you made my life a heck of a lot easier because I was about to embark on the same 'adventure' you just took. Thanks!!
