Yeah your right probably not the right thread but am in so much pain now and over the last couple of days, i just don't care any more quickly losing the will to live and arguing over devices and manufacturers is just not really important in the grand scheme of things.

Apologies to all.

Marc

just to add why Telstra are so interested in HSDPA... since mid last year they have been promoting a new product called Next G which is their high speed 3.5G network. They have a couple of their own branded phones from manufacturers I've never heard of, as well as a few from Samsung and HTC etc, but they are in short supply and need more.

Here's the page for all this...

Hi all,

just came across the thread for the N81 and that also will have HSDPA so as i said it does look like that is going to be standard spec on Nokia smart phones from now on. So unless they are not picking up the new N series devices that comment from him doesn't really make a lot of sense as both these new N series devices have specs to die for and thats 2 devices already and we are not even into the 2nd half of the year.

no worries dogmann

any way, i did remember there n81/n82 are meant to be coming this year too, so i dont think what he told me was true. Maybe its just the Telstra network getting the one more hsdpa phone from nokia, i dont know

or by the time the phones arrive in europe in q4, by the time they reach our shores it will be 2008

anyway, imo we will see more than one more handset....

posted this in nokia upping its game thread too, thought it had some relevance here too....
was reading over some user opinions of e61i on gsmarena, user there called 'Nokia Expert Designe' (r?) posted this:

"""This phone is targeted towards the business audience. We've made it more slimmer and compact in comparison to the previous Nokia e61. The Nokia e61 was covered in plastic while this mobile handset is covered in stainless steel. A 2 megapixel camera has been also added along with many software updates.Anyone who is wondering if this mobile handset is music oreintated-it is. There is an amazing media player and the speakers have been tested and work really well. This phone is great for watching videos and is great for Wi-fi. Look forward to the n81 if you like to play games a lot and listen to music with 8GB built in memory. Also look forward for the n82, which features Wi-fi, a 5megapixel camera with Xenon flash and integrated protection. That's all the specs I'll tell you guys. These new handsets will come out at the end of 2007 (December), and they will cost more than 500 dollars. By the way, I'm from Germany. I hope this information helps."""

""IF"" he genuinely works at nokia, seems n81/n82 arent coming until late q4, december, and thats if they come on time.... so perhaps Telstra guy is sort of right, and these hsdpa ( well we dont know 100% if they are hsdpa) phones wont be released until early 08, always a chance they can be delayed...... nokia still have more announcements though, imho, im expecting more hsdpa handsets.... just need to wait now for future announcements......

Huh, first you 'believe' then you don't - you argue and contradict yourself. Useless, speculative tread anyway. Go get a life. You only live once and who gives a sh!t what Nokia is going to do over the next 7months. Just in case you are not aware - this is a SE forum. Please post that Nokia speculation stuff of yours in a more relevant forum or ask the mods to move this crap in the garbage tread

Judging by the big grinning green smiley it appears Mario has been drinking from the sarcasm cup again it's either that or someones has hijacked his account again IMO.

Hey Mario.....

Have you been flying again?

I must say, its not like you to take part in a thread and then make a holy show of yourself.

Yeah, I fly everytime I get a chance - afterall is my top hobby . I am just fedup with treads like : 'I have heard from a . . . .'. We all know Nokia will bring more then one hispeed internet cell out before the end of the year and yet some people 'debate' God knows what. It looks like someone is run out of ideas what to chatt about. Anyway - have it your way - enjoy (to see a nice aerial pic I took under somewhat difficult conditions go here http://my-cell-blog.blogspot.com)

its a mobile phone forum, what do you expect to read people hear things and share them, dont see a problem there....
i have doubted this from the start, but if, again i find it unlikely, this is true, does that mean i can abuse you for being wrong
