IGO12,
Choose S700. Size of display is important (320*240)

So this converts documents on your PC to .jar files, and then you send them to your phone? |

I just view doc or xls file (as is) in the phone without any conversion.
Re-read my post once more.

Uh huh Vicser and the main problem with your software is that is only accomodates two file formats. Most ebooks are in the pdf format.

Agree with you but i mean that my way is good f.e. when receiving e-mail with documents attached with following viewing them without any conversion. For reading books (in Russia 99 percents of free books are accessible in doc or rtf format) i save them into txt format in MS Word and then read them by means of TCBookreader midlet once created (w/o jar creation).

@Vicser.
docviewer is great! i opened small doc file on my phone.
i think file browser needs to be improved. there are lots of read/write permission prompts which is annoying, especially when it does not need to write anything. it could be like in opera mini mod-only one read prompt per directory, instead of several read/write. does it write anything after write prompt?
anyway after improving this can become one of the most useful j2me apps!

I've installed Halmer certificate into my phone and I have no these permission prompts at all.

i have halmer too, but before i allow the program to write anytime it likes, i'd like to know why does it want to write something. remember that it's only a reader.
