I think you have misread Boba he is saying that the built in Nokia/Safari web browser is better than Opera Mini. I would actually go much further and say that the Nokia/Safari browser is the best on any mobile device, personally i think both Opera and Opera Mini are horrible but that's just MO and what i like.
But it was one one the many things i couldn't stand on my M600, I do admit if you don't have a good Data plan Opera Mini is very good at reducing your Data costs, fortunately i am on T-Mobile and thanks to Web N Walk no longer have to worry and just use it at will.

no! NO!!! I use e61 and n91 - so I know how good their browsers are. But there are reasons why I often use opera... I can absolutely agree with boba and yet have reasons to choose operamini (opera mobile I won't even mention - well, I have now! I don't like it!)... a) compression - I live in a 3g black hole... well, on it's event horizon. b) I don't "do" contracts - they're made with the devil, always... so again operamini due to less data traffic... I do use nokia browser often but not always, is what I'm saying...
AND maybe you know: why would anyone pay for opera mobile these days? I don't get it?! But that's a different thread! Have a good w/end!

Well, boba... on the following phones I've used the internet ex-/intensively: k700, k750, 6680, e61, n91, w810...all of them, on 3 different networks are more expensive to run their native/built-in browsers and opera mobile (not mini...: "mobile" 8.65) because of higher data traffic. Actually, all those phones are more expensive running just their wap browsers with images/sound disabled than when I use operamini with images setting on higher quality!!! operamini with images enabled versus any other browser with images/animations turned off is between 2 - 4 times cheaper... I admit, certain sites are of limited use using mini, but for quick-browsing, news-skimming etc: opera-mini!!! As to nokia's "safari"-browser: yeah, on my e61 it's fantastic, though even on that mammoth screen I get occasionally fed-up scrolling sideways... and go back to mini; on my n91 I find it unusable - only if I have to sign-in at sites where mini fails do I use Nokia's built-in browser... So there! (bonus: here in Ireland for reasons beyond my knowledge, both voda and oh2 fail to charge basic connection fee when using operamini... so I can, e.g., skim google news for a couple of cents...).

yep - same here, on 6680, n91, e61... On e61 it's irrelevant - hahaha -, battery lasts forever! But on n91 it can be annoyin-ish: you do stuff for hours, still plenty of bars, later: bang, just about empty!!! no clue why that is... I mean, 6680 and n91 are so radically different in hard- and software... Maybe it's a nokia joke? Although, my "old" k750i does it since about the age of 8-9 months... Anyone?
P.S. Boba, don't mention "wifi" or "broadband" around me again!

yeah... i have a 10 yr-old ericsson ph: that shows full bars and then you dial a number and zipppp with each digit a bar goes, but that is a 10-yr old battery. it's strange but I don't see an explanation coming!!!

yeah - mostly guesswork, or the always popular multipurpose-reply "get a firmware upgrade", and blah... Guess it's just one "of those things" - like K xyz's joystick...

Sounds plausible... all kinds of nokias, symbian or not, oldold phones/batteries... continue, watson!!! Maybe we can gather enough evidence to launch a class action law suit??? ???

You can save images from a Nokia browser. Just press options then go to Page Options and Images Mode then save image. Easy. As regards the phone book have you check settings in phone book where it says first name or last name first option.
