It has to be size. i would not use sms,wap,colour screen or gprs if they were still as big as by British Telecom phone years back! So sms, gprs etc in themselves can be classed as a revolution in my view.

I think that videoconfrence is the most revoultionary feature to come to mobile phones... It's a new way of communication between people everywhere...

My take is the GSM world standard, allowing phones 2 be used in a vast # of countries.

whit a bit of luck you are availeble all the time! everybody can call you where your are, if you've got a signal. SMS is great to and next think is video phone and then its using your mobile as a controller for all the devices in your house by using bluetooth.

the reduction in cost was the biggest revolution i think.

just reading today that 10m camera phones were sold in Q3 this year. Analysts are predicted this is going to be the biggest revolution we've seen...

I think also sms! If only for the person who thought it up. Think about it deaf people couldnt use mobiles etc but with sms they managed to reach a new market group!
