Nice to see a uiq without touchscreen. I guess it'll be like using a se dumb phone ui with the dpad but only smartphone.
I hope its well thought out, rather have shortcuts assigned to the dpad than scrolling through shortcuts at the bottom of the today screen. |

i hope they actually start using it in the highend phones...
lowend can use k800i type UI
midrange/highend can use non-touch UIQ
and highend/pda can use touch UIQ
let's hope they hurry up and release some good devices... or UIQ will be dead!

in other words, for each Z8 sold, SE (UIQ) gets money.
and it gives the people at UIQ more experience and more need for extra 3th party software.

More UIQ phones, more sales, more incentive for people to develop for UIQ, more happiness for UIQ3 users

"Battery life for the Z8 is rated at 5 hours talk time and 16 hours standby."
Standby time less than a day!!!!
That can't be right!

Lets all hope that K800i´s sucessor have UIQ interface... with this new model from motorola and the N series ou there, is gonna start looking outdated if it continues with basic software for their flagship models. |

Maybe I missed something, where does it say that this phone uses the UIQ3 interface? I'm not saying it doesn't, cos, I don't know i just want to know where it actually says it. |
