The point is (and I don't know how many of you feel this way) that I feel se users are becoming very spoilt. Any new feature, they want to have it in their phone.

I've been following this forum for about a year and started taking active discussion only after 6 months. I remember the time when you open the discussion boards, and it was chalked full of useful information, helpful hints people providing services to maximize the functions of their phones. Now a days, I see mostly "petition for mophun... request for java... why can't we have poly....." Aren't there any practical and realistic people?

Flame me (or sue me) if you want. It is fine to share your opinions and dream of having the perfect phone which could be upgraded constantly to compete with features or present models. Wouldn't that be such a dream! No one would ever have to buy another mobuile again! But seeing New Post after New Post of peopl requesting the same things over and over again... There are still great people here that offer lots of help and useful information. But there are also a great number of people here who just can't see the big picture.

Analogy:
You bought a dot-matrix printer a year ago. Nowadays, all printers feature bubble jet printing, full range of colours, photograpic quality, faster printing speeds, etc.

So what do you do?

Bring it back to the manufacturer and ask him to install a new bubble jet head? A faster motor for printing speed? Even fork out money to get it done? Why?

I always thought that the real greviance before was the t68m to i upgrade. The difference there was that they truly owed it to us as we had bought an MMS enabled phone but during that time, t68m had no mms. So we waited around half a year for the upgrade to arrive, along with a few extra nifty features.

Then came rolling the new models of phones. 7650, T300 7210.... And now we have people asking "Java, mophun, poly..." I understand that not everyone can afford a new model when it arrives. But why can't anyone be contented with what they have purchased? All around you see posters with signatures proudly showing their support for se. But its these same posters that are going to put the company that they support out of business if this is the continuing trend.

Feel free to voice your opinions guys but please don't take it so far as to petition the companies for this and that. Not only will it go unheard, its just not financially reasonable and practical.

And please take a heed from some people here like arnoldc(providing excellent services for wap), Ja99ie(beautiful and wide range of free MONO ringtones), Jison(who provides themes for downloads), all the other se dedicated sites that provide useful information, tips, etc, and of course laffen(the ONLY reason we are all here and brimming with information, knowledge and ideas to share)

Forget it ........... If SE gonna upgrade our phones forever, they gonna go bankrupt.........Are we asking too much from SE ?? Anyway, I think SE did their best in giving us upgrade which enhanced the performance and add some new features to our phone !!!! Why the hell they need to add some completely new features to our T68i ?? I rather they add the new features in the coming T68i successor & other new phones !!!

I think a petition could be usefull... as I remember Siemens added java in a firmware upgrade for the sl45(i)

But that's just my thoughts...

will release soon a more powerful T68 like phone with java and mophun.
will give java upgrade to T68

The difference!!
1. Speed (I hope you like turbo charge than diezel, if you are a racer )
2. Colors (too many to count)
3. Memory (remember 4MB at 7650 is not enough)
4. Extra (maybe)

What do you think guys?

If you could upgrade your t68i to be mophun compatible for 25$ wouldn't u do it?

(I have NO IDEA whatsoever - what it could or would cost, but i'd definately pay that amount).
