First off,

Orange Charge £20 plus VAT, it takes approx 2 hours to get through and at least 10-14 days (AT BEST) to get the phone unlocked.

Now, NO and I mean NO service provider will debrand phones, why the hell would they put it on in the first place if they were gonna let you take it off.

We offer a service which, in the main takes 3 days, and will remove any and all branding and update the phone to the newest possible firmware, change the CDA so YOU can upgrade the FW on SEUS YOURSELF to the newest firware when it comes out.

If you don't feel it's value for money, then you are more than entitled to your opinion, however personally having to wait minimum 3 months sometimes 6 months after contract start/upgrade, to apply for an unlock code, then taking over 2 hours on the phone, then taking over 2 weeks to get the code, and still having the crap service provider software, isn't what I call service, or value for money.

Lest us not forget the fact that the service providers become a whole lot more anal about any insurance claims after you have asked them for an unlock code, because they automatically assume you have sold it. Whereas they don't know the phone is unlocked if you get it done through a third party.

Well. Handset arrived back today, exactly as they said it would. It was very well packaged for it's trip home.

Great job. The phone is debranded and reflashed. I'm very pleased with the service.

I'd happily recommend these guys to anyone. Thanks!

I rather have someone independent unlock it. It is like asking the lock smith unlocking you house, when they in the first place locked it. Plus you want the unbiased approach.

Did you have to re-input all your settings (ie ringtones, contact photos, e-mail settings etc) after the de-branding?

Yes the phone memory is whiped, when debranding, the media memory stays intact however anything stored on the phone memory will be lost. We suggest that you backup the phone before sending it to us, that way it's easy to put the settings etc. back on when it gets back to you.

@Dan

Nice mate, makes quite a diff eh? Especially getting rid of the crappy orange bar down the left, thats a massive bonus.

I don’t think your quite grasping the concept of this are you, god, to let you lose with something as sophisticated as a P9XX & a PC is scary. Best thing to do is turn on your PC (if you know how to) and then open up your internet, go to somewhere like google (that will be www.google.com) and type in phone branding or mobile phone branding or what is branding and then click on one of the pages, when the page opens up there will be a load of letters with gaps in, those series of letter will make words (you can tell this as there will be a gap between the letters) read all the word or get someone to read them for you & they can explain to you what branding is, AND DON’T KEEP SAYING:

“BUT THEY ALSO UNLOCK THE P990I FOR £20 BUT NETWORKS CAN UNLOCK THEM FROM £15”
