Hi guys,
confirmed from SE singapore that dba-10 can be paired with the t300. Below is the letter:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson Customer Care Center.
With regards to your inquiry, the DBA-10 bluetooth adaptor with T300 is able to pair with HBH-10, HBH-15, HBH-20 and HBH-30.

But as to whether we can send and receive files through it, it is still a mystery. Anyone? |

The DBA-10 only has the DUN and voice BT-profile and NOT the OBEX or even the serial profile.
All tools I've seen for file transfer to or from T68 uses OBEX or serial profile which means that you cannot do this with the DBA-10.
However, I read a post in this german forum: www.telefon-treff.de
where a user claims he can sync his R320 with a DBA-10 and the DUN profile. If you can sync R320 you can do the same with T300 and it is likely that you could connect for a file transfer also.
Is there someone who can test this? |

@fulat^t68: No, you will definately not be able to send files between phones since DBA-10 doesn't support the Bluetooth Object Transfer Profile (OBEX). |

I have a DBA 10, T300 & T65, the bluetooth adaptor does not work with either of them at all (when I tried it on a T20 it bought up a menu in the accessories sub menu). Is it possible to have the software upgraded ? |

I have a T300 with a DBA-10 adapter and a Jabra Freespeak Headset. Connection is easy, and the quality of the calls is great. Some people have complained that the Jabra and T68i have problems when seperated by a body part. I have had no such problems. Only problem I have had with this combination is that sometimes the Freespeak will just hang, and will not respond until first I remove the DBA-10 from the phone, and then reset the Jabra. I changed my headset assuming that it was defective, but the problem still remains and is very reproducable. It may be because the DBA-10 is BT 1.0b and the Jabra supports only BT 1.1.
I would love to hear if anyone else has any such problems with the DBA-10

No, unfortunatley that is not possible!
The DBA-10 does not support file transfers.

I do not understand what you mean by "if you are lucky"!
How would it work on one phone and not the other..they should all have the same hardware and software!
