Right on!! SE should add this "feature" when they promote the phone. This is truly an unique feature that not many phones have

Just installed the trial version for UIQ3 and it does not work. I followed the instructions and the 'test' process but when I restarted phone the apps did not start. Am I doing somehting wrong?
I have Swiss Maanger Pro installed - is there a conflict? What else can I try to have certain apps auto-launch - purely for convenience than anything

Unfortunately BootMan can not autostart on the latest firmwares, due to a security change introduced by SE after the release of BootMan.

Can't you override that with Bootman?

Announcement: BootMan is now considered obsolete, as its services are better implemented by our recent product, Bunch Launch, that provides a more convenient and versatile way of quickly bringing the phone to a desired state. Please try Bunch Launch if you ever found BootMan useful.

Just to let you all know there is a tutorial on the following thread to make any app auto start by modifying the .sis installation package.
Much neater than installing extra apps like bootman.

Pretty straight forward - if you need a hand let me know.
