i think its a mistake to compare the t68 with nokia 7650, as many ppl said , they belong to different catagories...not to forget the difference of time, there will be at least 6 months between them , and dont think after all that time nokia or any other companies will bring something similar to t68.for sure they will make something better to win the market.
and for the ppl who wants to wait , i think they will wait forever, cuz everyday will bring us a new thing , now ericsson , then nokia , after that ericsson will strike back, and other companies will join, so just buy what u have now and u know its good...
for me i dont there is anything is missing in the t68, it has more than we expected.. |

I think everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, BY THE WAY I DON'T THINK I WOULD BE UNEMPLOYED, I WANTED TO LEAVE FOR BOUYGES TEL AND THEY DOUBLED MY SALARY TO STAY VP MARKETING FOR BAVARIA....Anyways, How can u say it's not the same as nokia 7650 why because nokia weighs (with camera built-in) 60g more???? hehehe.....I just said it's an overall better machine and in the past 7 years Nokia always has stayed one-two steps ahead from competition....do you guys recall the battery life ericsson had until one year ago????? dont compare pioneers and followers...NOKIA is a trendsetter and a maker, ericsson until it met sony was a mere second class company....just some food for thought! |

| The R520, T39, T66, T65, T68 where all made by Ericsson before the merge. The result of the merge is not revealed yet

exactly......
laffen has correctly pointed out that T68 is not a product of SONY-ERICSSON, but of only ERICSSON.
So how can u say that T68 worked coz of the partnership between the two?? |

About the Nokia and Ericsson thing. I still have to say Ericsson rocks. To me...Nokia is like a pice of LEGO toys where you can put together. The sense of sturdyness is not there at all!!! Take Nokia 8310 for example, it comes with a 3-D changeble colours. Isn't it amusing? |

You should know there's a camera for the Ericsson phones, Communicam, and it weighs in at a mere 26g.
Also, how can you say that Nokia's been one-two steps ahead from competition the past 7 years? Are you on crack?
Up till three years ago, Nokia had bulky ugly phones (they still do, 9210, 5510), now they're just plain ugly.
Ericsson had the 337 series which when it came out was top of the line, followed by 788 which was small and neat, followed by about one year of rubbish. 888, 688, A2618 etc. Nothing new. Then came T28, and you all know where Ericsson went from there. The T28 was a bit flaky, but the R320, R520, T39. And all Nokia has is old crap in new suits. What else is new?

Yea ... After I had my 8850 for one yr ... I think nokia kinda sucks ... They're jus f**king ard with consumer $$ ... installing old crap into new suits ... 8210 followed by 8250 followed by 8310 ? I dun see much improvements in any of them xcept they're in new covers ... well I guess the new 8855 won't be any of a difference from the 8850 anyway ... Nokia = Crap |

Nokia currently generates over 70 percent of its revenue from sales of handsets, with the remaining 30 percent coming from the sale of networking equipment. The move away from the known, safe world of manufacturing, an area that Nokia has dominated for the last 10 years, demonstrates that the company believes that it needs to influence the direction of the 3G marketplace, and not have all its eggs in one basket. The obvious benefit to Nokia of rapid rollout of 3G services is that the more successful and widespread the offerings become, the more handsets Nokia will eventually sell.
Nokia's Swedish rival Ericsson had been the third largest player in the mobile handset manufacturing world, having been removed from the second slot by Motorola. The company recently lost significant market capitalization after announcing third quarter results which, although in line with other manufacturers, caused the market to write down their shares by 16 percent. Unlike Nokia, which has until recently sold its handsets at a respectable profit, Ericsson has struggled to manufacture phones within budget.
I could respond to every single of your requests LAFFING but it seems pointless as u need to be open-minded and objective to even begin to comprehend these things. I understand you are the moderator, the more power to you....Unfortunately I would have expected you to lead by example.

Oh and by the way, do you guys know the future of telecommunication devices, the orientation is going towards multimedia all in one hand helds...Microsoft's ceo Bill gates is currently making contracts and negotiating with all phone manufacturer's for exclusivity of web access and menu platform....Seems like 5 years from now we will own an all-in-one the size of a cellphone! |
