looks ugly... i would rather wait for its successor probably one similar to 9300. nokia is v smart.. it knows how to play with the psychology of its consumers. people would not mind compromising the looks for such fascinating specifications and the sales will boom and after a couple of months, nokia will come up with a good looking successor of this phone by compromising one of its precedor's feature as per the company's strategy and will not need to try hard to find buyers for this phone too. i m sure most of them wud be e90 users only. but there is a threat to it. if sony eric adopts series 60 ui which is the nokia's core competency then nokia will surely be in trouble.

Sorry but what are you saying as it doesn't make any sense this is the new Communicator range and Nokia does not release new versions every 5mins either. As for SE using S60 i somehow doubt that especially as they have just bought UIQ and are rumoured to be working on a non touchscreen version. As to Nokia having to worry about SE in the smart phone market never mind using S60 that's has to be one of the funniest things I've heard so far this year.

Well, the fact is the hinge is really stupid... and a non-sense.
First it opens 90degrees, then flat, and finally you can put it 135 or so degrees... Ridiculous if you ask me.
Otherwise it *is* a nice device with no longer that old Communicator UI, but something much better and found on other Nokia phones, at last. |

the front side of the phone looks rubbish, much like nokia low end phones (6020)
the interior is a piece of art. great balance between gorgeous screen and keypad. great design
the specs speak loud. smartphone based on S60 (better than the old used in 9500 ) GPS, 3.2 mpx cam, wifi ..
verdict : very very good |

The E90 look nice with all the specs it have but if you look into the weight its going to be something else (210 g), its not going to be easy to put in your pocket |
