I've got a T300 with communicam on Vodafone PAYT, but to MMS with them I will have to buy a new phone so I think I might wave goodbye to Vodafone.

You shouldn't have to. Configure your phone on the voda website (T300 is on there), then call Voda to enable MMS on your account. free til Feb 28th. |

GPRS is free for contract users until 28th Feb 2003. For PAYG users, MMS is free. It uses GPRS to send/receive the message, but you cant use it for WAP/DATA. |

Ruvjet: Yes, Ive rung up and enabled MMS on my account (Yesterday). But I am a UK Vodafone Connect customer, not main Vodafone Direct customer and they're saying it's a prob with Voda Con (:-().
On UK Vodafone MMS is free phone-to-phone until Jan 03 but if you send it to an email address you have to pay for using your GPRS data amount.

Just rung Vodafone Connect and they say they have 4,000 errors relating to MMS on customer's account to work through. Which is why my MMS is not working.
I bet I'm number 3,999 or maybe even ....
Anyway I could wait for days apparently.
Anyone know a good service provider? |

I am also a Vodafone Connect customer, and it has been working since Monday on my T68i.
I have come to the conclusion that MMS is no fun without a camera though.. which is why I bought a Sharp GX10 on a new, (6 months half-price line rental) contract.
Because the IR on the GX10 seems to be blocked, MMS is the only way I have been transferring my pics from T68i to GX10.
Voda connect and Voda retail are all one company now (Vodafone Limited), so it shouldn't matter anyway.
They all have the same customer service number, 08701 666 777, call them and give tem hell until you get what you want.
Also, I have been sending to email addresses as well, no charge.

Does anyone use a subsiduary service provider like Cellular Operations (for vodafone or O2)?
If so, is it possible to send mms from a T68i with them? I don't think they support GPRS...
