I know that it's possible to add a ringtone bye sending your T68 a SMS-message that looks like this:

BEGIN:EMELODY
VERSION:1.0
MELODY:cFpc+CpfAgaFC
<---any melody
END:EMELODY

And this is of course very simple if you send the SMS from one of the free services wich makes it possible to send SMS from your PC.

But midi-files downloded with WAP would be even better...

Emelody is working with the free sender on the net if you do not have a stupid message like"send via.." at the end of the sms

This 'begin emelody' stuff you're supposed to be able to write out in an SMS message, is this for Nokia ringtones?

I've found a few Nokia ringtones I'd like to try out on my phone, I figure I just write myself an SMS with that info in it then?

You can convert Nokia ringtones to eMelody format using software on your PC. Have a look at my post here http://esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=10213&forum=2 for some free software I've been using or download one of the more feature rich shareware offerings like Nok2Phone or Mobile Music.
