Yeah it drains all the time use it till it switches off must just be a heavy user

might be thats the problem. if u drain fully your batt once in 2 weeks, thats ok, but every singlwe time, it does effect bad batt life

My k800's battery life seemed terrible when I first got it. Two months later it does seen much better. Was abroad for 3 weeks recently so had 3g off (too expensive) and making only a few short calls here and there, and quite a lot of texting, didn't need to charge once. Seems to me that 3G bleeds the battery even when not in active use, I hear the same is true of other phones.

I have noticed that I have been getting good battery life as the days past. I have also reduced my LCD brightness to 80% and it helped increased battery life too.

set it on 50%, turn off screensaver and standby clock and gprs always online for better batt performance

in on mode the reception quality could be better and worth, meaning the fone constantly serach for better quality, so it takes power, it does influence the charging tima and the batt performance later. if u charge and lets make calls in the same time, thats the most worse u can do your batt...

Well my test is as follows turned brightness down too 50% 3g off standby clock off and im giving the same usage as in the first post lets still see if i have power come 6 o clock tonight

u shouldnt turn 3g off imo, its pointless to turn out the main feature of k8, imo that doesnt effect that much the battery
