most static problems only come if you touch the componants its only a low level risk its just if you do short the phone out then you have no warrenty to fall onto

Just touching the PCB can fry any static sensitive components on the board.

i hope i don't hurt my baby when i try this mod. if thats the case of stuffing up the motherboard than i will just swap the front and back cover only and leave the middle.

To be honest changing the middle aint that hard at all, in fact i found it quite easy, here is a very guide step by step guide which i followed and which will help you

Well he must of seriously screwed up as it really is quite simple, if you follow that guide you should be fine

just make sure that you get a decent fascia pack. a lot og the ones on ebay are total bulls**t!!! some local service centres can get hold of good quality ones for not much money (just don't ask them to fit it as they will charge the earth for that).
