not impossible, just expensive. 3 can charge anything upto £250 for an unlock code.....

Yeah, as far as i know it can only be the original owner that can unlock them? With a charge of £115 mid contract or £15 if there contract has ended.
I have heard from a few people you can buy a brand new 3pay sim top up £15 then ring 3 as a 3pay customer and they will just charge you £15 though not completely sure.
