Well, put simply. 3G offers much faster internet access than 2G (normal mobiles like the K750). It's like comparing dial-up to broadband. In addition to faster internet speeds, you can make video calls on a 3G phone.

Nobody has mentioned that the V3x has A2DP which the W800i does not.
Here in NZ the V3X is currently available with HS-850 BT stereo headphones for no extra cost - a very tempting deal.
I agree that the W800i has heaps of good features and a better UI, but these days a serious music phone needs A2DP IMHO.
