Thanks Joel80! I changed the setting there to restricted and it resizes automatically for MMS's. Good news. You got any magic settings for the other problems!! |

But I have had no problem with the sync... But I might have missunderstood you. I sync with my the dock connected to my computer and outlook. And I dont have to do anything ense then press syncronize on the icon in my taskbar.
There is some way to tell the phone and the computer that it should trust eachothers. 
edit: Dont know or think it affects the sync via USB, but anyway. If you have added the computer to "your units" in bluetooth you can chose to trust the computer. Check the bt settings..

I didn't explain it very well. It's to do with Exchange Activesync (or Dataviz Roadsync). When you sync with a server which only has a self signed certificate you always have to ok the security box.
I shouldn't start to go into too much detail on this here as there is already another thread on it.

Sorry to post again, Has anyone had trouble viewing gmail website on their P990's
I currently get a network error even tried the mobile gmail also. I am currently using Tmobile GPRS and I have tried my TyTN and it is working so I know it is not blocked by Tmobile could someone try this for me please.

www.gmail.com works fine for me on vodafone/P990
it takes me to the mobile version of gmail (I suppose the one you use from wap)

Got my P990 two days ago, and apart from the little bugs (contacts etc..) i have not had a single crash. Firmware same as everyone's.
My phone is showing week 30 as the week of manufacture. I was wondering if stability is related to date of manufacture..Can you guys check this on your phones? |

Two crashes is pretty good going i would say..
From the documentation in te box it is evident that Expansys sourced the first batch in Sweden..

Have you looked at big videofiles?
And hotswapping btw programs like agilemessenger and browser...
I have about 2 crashes a day! lol..
I might put some preassure on my unit though... hehe.

I switch between browser and a few other apps regularly, though I haven't tried agile messenger.
mind you agile is a beta isn't it? so you can expect some issues with that and cannot neccessarily put all the blame on the P990

True! True! I think a few things in the phone is kind of Beta.. hehe... And it's fine with me as long SE works on the problem and comes out with FW-updates as soon they figure things out. Most things do actually work, even thou some does not.
Ofcause people writes mor about bugs then the things that do work.. We want to know if it's a bug on many units or isolated just to your own.
I have put an order for a gps-transmitter and will test diffrent programs the next week.. We'll se if any program works on the p990 yet.

Funnily enough i get the same error myself when trying to access gmail...and im on tmobile web n walk.
On my k800i it works fine but seems like the p990i doesnt like it... |

Cheers mate, much appreciated...now works like a charm..
Now all i need is the settings so i can automatically download my email through the messaging bit rather than having to open the web browser and log in through there |
