Steve Jobs always suprise ppl but he always will be able to bring some existing hype of certain upcoming or growing technology to a new height.
Of course I have to exclude newton which bring in PDA.
Mp3 player wasn't invented by Apple but iPOD change the way ppl look at mp3 format and its player.
To me he isn't the sole inventor on PC which have full digital or multimedia experience (its contribution by a few company) but he always make everyone hope to get a iMAC or MAC into the living room for its digital-multimedia function.
My prediction of anyphone he like to bring into the market might be base on a technology he keep on working onto....WIFI-VOiP phone might be his target. This phone might be one tht can link up seamlessly with iTUNE!!!
Of course this is my wild guess and I guess 10hrs from now we will all know what has he planned now since everyone is saying iPOD hype is slowly fading. |

indeed...i was hopeing for a new video ipod at least if not the iphone...rumour has it the new ipod will be announced in Nov..pre-christmas launch.

Yeah its possible, but most of the important technology is usually annouced at Keynote... Maybe one one of the top sectrets they have is Keynote: The Sequel
Looks like its gonna have to be Macworld Paris, or wait until MWDS in Jan!

Well, I'm not sure, but Apple has filed patents for a non-touch display for a portable device, its just that nobody has any idea how this will be incorporated in to iPod. The 6G will be a pure iPod video, so the screen will be a huge improvement and so will the battery with any luck, so its gonna be quite s step-up, so before xmas? Its risky, but you know Apple, anythings possible! lol
