It's a shame in a way that it's not gonna be and SE phone, but I've fallen in love with, I really hope that they mass produce them, and at a price that mere mortals can afford!! And, it's well specced, most fashion phones are rubbish (e.g 8800 is lovely, but a vga camera, come on!), this is going to be one hell of a phone! |

Awww, I wish SE had just made it for themselves. Still looks classy but I don't think that it would appeal to mass market (like the 8800) if they lowered the price.

well in my opinion its a waste, they put windows mobile on which just ruins such a nice design

i dont think so WM5 kicks ass. if only it worked with mac id use my C600 and M5000 all the time.

How on earth does using Windows mobile ruin a good design? What has the OS got to do with the design? You can customise the front end to look pretty much however you want it to look so I really don't see a problem here.
Besides, I agree strongly with Masseur. Windows mobile is very stable and reliable and it's arguably the most widely supported mobile OS currently available. Surely that makes it an ideal choice for an exclusive and incredibly expensive device?

Well, surely if you were paying alot of money for a phone you wouldn't want it to just be an SPV C600 in disguise? I would've thought some exclusive but easy to use UI would make more sense, a bit like the adjustment of Nokia software with bigger and more expensive sounding words, such as Vertu, e.g. instead of "Contacts" it's "Directory"

thats the thing though Vein, you CAN customise WM5 so it probably wont ship with the standard bliss themes etc..

Absolutely i completely agree...vertu is very dissapointing in terms of specs,although build quality is excellent but again lacks in design.

Not a SE phone.What makes it special is the price.By 2007 all these features will be matched by others too and this way u'll be able to find more than 3 programs for ur beloved WM 05 which u praise so much..

300 usd is cheap, my videocard is more expensive than that, and you're right by that time the features of that phone would be normal to have, and it olooks unrealistic of an exclusive phone rpiced that low. |

the problem is just personal preference, I hate windows mobile, cant stant using it, its slow booring and far to awkward, I wish se took this one then it wouldnt use the crappy os lol
