I think I prefer the look of Optimus Prime in hte CGI test more than the one in the pictures, it better resembles the old school optimus. He's supposed to be some strict-ass leader, not some trucker with flames painted on him!

I dont really like the whole idea of modeling the robots from a comic looking character and trying to change/modify them into todays modern world.

For X-Men, Bryan Singer did a great job of applying its realistic costumes to fit in our today's world... coz like it says, it would looked goofy if they stick with the original costumes... honestly I dont really mind if the females wud stick to its original costumes..... hehehehe.....

But for Transformers, I think they went over board and what I looked at it its like, Transformers not in todays world of 2006, its more like 2080. I dont really like it, for this they shud have stick to its original design.
