Same thing on my K800. In fact I like this effect, makes the phone look cooler. [addsig]

Mine does this too, i assume its more of a design feature... like a gradual illumination of the whole screen keypad.

If it was a real bug then bottom leys wouldn't light at all.

Hi guys n girls,

I noticed that once you unlock the keyboard for example, that the screen lights up closley followed by the joystick and the keyboard, and don't think its firmware, more likely to be an aesthetic thing from , plus I quite like it, its quite smooth watching the lights come on from the top...
Either way, it doesn't take 1second between each bit lighting up, I'd say it does it in about 1s, the entire process that is...

Cheers

it also looks rather cool when your phone rings, or you receive a text message when the keypad is locked/backlight off

Hey hragsarkissian did you get this button clicking sound fixed? I just got my K800i recently and I get this error too. My keypad tones disappear and I have to reboot the phone to get them back again....

yeah, i really like the keypad lighting effects in this phone.
like, when it rings, and when you put it on charge, and when you "wake it up" from lights off. it's cool. it's so.. smooth looking.

Yeah, i've recently noticed this problem too, but i can't say for how long it's been happening.... Not that i really care about the clicking sound particularly, but i'd like to have it as an option.

Regarding that video, why does this phone always ask if you want to 'continue playback through speakers'? Where else am i supposed to play the music back through if not the speakers!?!?!

My missus has the w810i, and it just plays music as soon as you press the play/pause button - i've always found it VERY annoying that i have to say 'yes' EVERY-SINGLE-TIME on my k800i!!! I've never seen anyone mention it, but i assume this is an issue with the phone in general....

Yeah I know what you mean it's very annoying :s, but I think Sony put it there for a reason, but why really don't now

If you think that's cool, just set your alarm or timer and enjoy the small show!
