you cannot cancel unless you have been calling that number more than 5 times, in the last 3 months, if you have then you can cancel, if you cannot, then your stuck.

Bit of a piss take o2 are, claiming you can't cancel if you never rang the numbers. How does this make any difference, they have still changed the pricing and who is to say were not planning on calling these numbers in the future which if we do would leave us at a disadvantage.

I've sent them a letter today to try and cancel my contract to, i'll be very happy to leave the o2 muppets.

you have to call the numbers before the letters were issued to each individual o2 user, that calling them numbers is going to be chargable. its been about a month now since the letters were issued. So calling the numbers now won't make much of a difference.

I never had any letter or email to inform me off this, i only found out through using esato website forums.

Just because i ain't dialed the numbers is absolute crap, they have still changed pricing in my contract, therefore they should still be letting everybody know.

good luck...

I'll probably need a miracle from the experience i've had with them in past few months. Almost all, infact all the people i spoke with at o2 are pretty useless.

But its worth a try!

i had a argument on the phone with o2 customer care last night about cancelling my contract and they wouldn't pass me to a manager to discuss it further. So i emailed there complaints team soon as i came off the phone, i threatened to go higher if need by with ofcom and otelo etc.

Then this morning result! I got a txt from O2 saying the following

"Thanks for you letter. Your mobile will be disconnected on 18 August 2006. We are sorry to lose your custom. If you change your mind, please call us"

I definately won't be changing my mind.

Finally a o2 customer who is happy, but only cos i'm leaving them, lol.
