Thing is I am sure I had the BBC football feed on my phone before I reset the settings but cant for the life of me remember which address I used. It cant have been any with .xml as its just not accepting that for any. |

BBC world news is the only bbc feed that comes pre-set, it just so happens that the world cup dominated the frontpages, so unless you had input the sport feed yourself then no you didnt have that one. but it does work from the link I've posted |

You can get the link you posted to the footy section of the sports pages to work on your k800i? Even though it ends in .xml? Dont you get an unsupported file type error? |

Well tbh I dont think its the spelling it just doesnt like xml files. Oh well will try the sky sports feed then.
EDIT: Never mind mate I am a spanner. Had been typing in sportsonline instead of sportonline. My faith in the RSS feeds has been restored

mrwoll,
Im having the same issue as you. When you view these links on esato on the phone and click on one of them it tries to download an unsupported file type? How do you get around this and just get it to add the feed to the rss reader?

@ tomo
Just go to the RSS reader on the phone and add the URL as a new feed. Worked for me. But trying to add them from a link you can click doesnt seem to work. |

have been very unsuccessful in getting any New RSS feeds onto the phone. Have tried clicking on links in the browser, this just downloads them to the Others folder and inputing them manually, this gets the message "no valid feed at entered address" these feeds all work fine on my computer and have checked and double checked the addresses. My phone is a UK o2 one and I am on o2. |
